'Jungle Gems' is an upcoming book due to be released in 2018, that tells the story of how a mysterious insect collection sparked a young naturalist's curiosity, ultimately leading him to undertake an expedition into the rainforests of China. During his adventures, he uses art as a means of recording his findings and observing the natural world more carefully, with the result of discovering incredible stories that have never been told before. The book is innovative in the respect of popularising entomology, its highly detailed illustrations and its contemporary take on the traditional link between art and natural history.
